This page explains what Bridgit handles when you use it. A full policy is on its way; until then, this summary describes how the product works today.

Text you select

When you press Translate, the selected text (up to 2,000 characters) is sent to our server and processed by an AI model to convert it into Indian Sign Language gloss.

Tab audio

Audio is only captured after you press Start listening on a tab. It is streamed to our speech-to-text provider using an access token that expires within a minute, so it can be transcribed and signed.

Your account

If you sign in, we keep your name, email and profile picture from your sign-in provider. Guest trials use an anonymous ID.
